Cabbage with Bacon

I love anything that can be cooked in under 30 minutes, bonus points if its under 10 like this cabbage and bacon dish. It’s so easy I bet you can make it blindfolded. The pork fat adds all the flavor to this dish. And eating cabbage with salty bacon is a delicious surprise to most.

Ingredients:
3-4 strips of bacon chopped into pieces
1/2 onion roughly sliced
3-4 cabbage leaves lightly hand torn
Salt
Crushed pepper

Method:

  • Take a pot and add in the bacon pieces, once the fat begins to melt add the onions and cabbage leaves.
  • Add salt as per taste and freshly crushed pepper.
  • Saute till crisp and serve.

Pro Tip: Add boiled potato slices and green peas to make it extra yummy.
