Chicken Schzewan Fried Rice

Ingredients:
2 cups cooked rice (Preferably from the night before)
1/2 cup fried chicken pieces cubed
2-3 green onions chopped (separate greens from the white)
2 tsp of schezwan sauce
1/2 tsp ajinomoto (optional)
1 tsp light soy sauce
Oil
Salt

Method:

  • Heat oil in a wok on medium to high flame and sauté the white part of the green onions for a minute or so.
  • Then add in the schezwan sauce and cooked rice. Mix then together then add ajinomoto, white pepper powder and light soy sauce.
  • Sauté till the rice is well coated with all the sauces and then add the chicken pieces and mix together again.
  • Finally garnish with chopped green onion springs and serve hot.
  • Goes best with Kung Pao Chicken , Garlic Chicken or Chicken in Oyster sauce.
