Walnut Rocks

Ingredients:

1 tin condensed milk (400 ml)
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 cup cold milk
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1 cup broken walnuts

Method:

  • In a non-stick pan pour the condensed milk, sugar & vanilla essence. Keep pan on low heat & stir continuously.
  • In a cup of milk add the cocoa powder & stir well making sure there are no lumps.
  • Add the cocoa milk to the pan & continue to stir till it bubbles & begins to stick.
  • Now add in the broken walnut & mix well till it forms a lump.
  • Grease a tray & drop a spoonful of the walnut mixture to form little rocks. Let them dry & set till it becomes hard.
  • Store in an airtight container.

Pro Tip: Add water instead of cold milk to make Walnut Toffee instead following the same recipe.
