
Ingredients:
500 gms chicken 2″ pieces
2 cups fenugreek leaves
2 med onions cut into half rings
2-3 green chillies chopped
1 tsp ginger paste
2 tsp garlic paste
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tomato finely chopped
1 tsp red chilli powder
Salt as per taste
Oil
Method:
- Heat oil in a pot or wok on medium flame , add the sliced onions & saute till golden brown.
- Add the green chillies along with ginger, garlic & turmeric & fry for another 1-2 mins.
- To this add the chicken pieces & fenugreek leaves stirring it all well together. Continue to saute for another 4-5 mins till the chicken begins to turn white.
- Add the finely chopped tomatoes, salt, red chilly powder & stir for 5-6 mins on medium to low heat. After a while the oil will begin to separate, at this point add some water if needed. Cover & cook till chicken is tender.
- Serve hot with roti’s or steamed rice.
