
Ingredients:
1 cup kala chana (black/ brown chickpeas) soaked overnight (Buy here- https://amzn.to/3c284er )
½ teaspoon cumin seeds
1 onions chopped
1 green chilli chopped
1½ teaspoon ginger garlic paste
1 tomato chopped
½ teaspoon red chilli powder
¾ teaspoon garam masala (Buy here- https://amzn.to/3hAe6nF )
1½ teaspoon coriander powder
¼ teaspoon turmeric
3 cups water
1 small lemon
Salt

Method:
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker or pot & add cumin seeds. Once they begin to splutter add the chopped onions.
- Once golden add ginger-garlic paste & green chillies & saute for 1-2 mins. Then add the chopped tomatoes & fry for another 2-3 mins.
- When the tomatoes turn soft add the the powdered spices- turmeric, red chilli, garam masala, coriander powder & salt. Fry the spices for 1-2 mins & add the chana.
- Add water & pressure cook for 8-10 mins or cover & cook till done.
- Squeeze in a lemon & serve hot with rice or roti.
