
Ingredients:
400-500 gms chicken
1 small onion finely chopped
8 garlic cloves crushed
3/4 inch ginger crushed
1-2 whole green chillies
1 tomato diced
2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp red chili powder or to taste
2 tbsp yogurt whisked
1 tsp black peppercorns crushed
1/2 tsp garam masala (Buy here- https://amzn.to/3hAe6nF )

Oil
To garnish-
1-3 green chilies slit lenghtwise
1-2 tbsp fresh ginger julienne
Method:
- On medium to high flame, heat oil in a wide pot/pan & add the onions. Sauté for a few minutes till lightly golden.
- Then add garlic, ginger, and whole green chili pepper and sauté for about a minute.
- Add the chicken, salt and sauté. The chicken will change to a golden color after a few minutes.
- Once the chicken stops leaving water, add the tomatoes, coriander, cumin, red chili pepper and sauté for another minute.
- Lower the heat, cover & cook the chicken for 10-15 minutes.
- Once chicken is cooked, turn the heat to high & dry out any extra liquid, making sure it doesn’t burn.
- Lower the heat to medium, add in the whisked yogurt & sauté for 1-2 mins.
- Add freshly ground black peppercorns and garam masala, and mix well.
- Top with green chilies & ginger. Serve hot with roti, naan, bread, or rice.
