
Ingredients:
500 gms chicken pieces
1-2 dried red chillies
2-3 cloves
1″ cinnamon
6-8 black pepper corns
1/2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 cup sliced onion
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp garam masala
Salt
Oil
Method:
- Heat oil in a pot & saute all the whole spices along with the red chillies.
- Once fragrant add the sliced onions. Fry till lightly golden & add the ginger garlic paste.
- Saute till the raw smell goes away & add the turmeric powder.
- Next add in the chicken pieces & fry together till all the pieces are well coated.
- To this add water, cover & cook till half done.
- Add the garam masala & salt. If needed add some more water & cook further till done.
- Garnish with freshly chopped coriander & serve hot.
