Veg Hakka Noodles or Veg Chow Chow

Ingredients:
500 gms noodles
1 medium onion sliced
1 tsp garlic- ginger chopped
1/2 green bell pepper cut into strips
1 green onion chopped
1/4 cup green peas
1/2 carrot julienne
1/4 tsp ajinomoto
1/4 tsp white pepper powder
1 tbsp soy sauce
Salt
Oil

Method:

  • Boil noodles in salt & water. Cook till 3/4 done, drain, cool & keep aside.
  • In a wok heat some oil & add the chopped ginger-garlic & stir fry.
  • Add the sliced onions & saute together.
  • Now throw in all the veggies & stir fry together tossing continuously.
  • Once the veggies are soft add the boiled noodles, soy sauce, ajinomoto, salt, white pepper & mix together. Stir continuously & make sure you don’t burn the noodles.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions & serve hot.
