Ingredients: π
1 can chickpeas
1 tsp cumin seeds
2-3 bay leaves
4-5 cloves
1-2 green chillies
1″ cinnamon
2-3 green cardamom or 1 black cardamom
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp hing/asofoetida
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 cup whisked yogurt
Salt
Oil
Method:
On medium to low flame, heat some oil in a pot & add the bay leaves, green chillies, cloves, cinnamon, cumin & cardamom.

Add the hing, turmeric, red chilli & coriander powder and stir well.
Now add the chickpeas and salt with a little water. Bring to a boil & add the whisked yogurt and stir well.

Serve with roti or steamed rice.
